Theatre of the Less Obvious highlights installment 15 with “Black Moon Rising,” a little-known John Carpenter story featuring Tommy Lee Jones as Quint, a master thief. The film revolves around retrieving a stolen tape hidden in a supercar, the Wingho Concordia II. Despite its potential, the movie remains a fun, but underwhelming, action-thriller.
