This is a brief transmission from Phoenix and Prescott Arizona where I went to spend the holidays with family, as we are all prone to do. It was a quiet, low-key holiday without too much excitement…in other words, it was perfect!
One thing I did encounter unexpectedly that I hope readers of this blog will particularly enjoy was an amazing pair of model train layouts in a store in a shopping mall, one in “N” scale and the other “HO”, which I have shown some pics and video of here for your enjoyment; some really cool stuff there!
I returned with a few goodies for the track but mostly with memories, the important kind that we remember whether or not we record them! I will return to Drag City Raceway shortly before the end of the year, and will make sure to keep y’all posted on the changes and improvements on their way to my own diorama in short order, so stay tuned for all manner of new action and adventure in 2025!
Bud, that looks like an absolutely wonderful Christmas and it was so nice to see your Mom again! Everything looked lovely and happy and so glad it seemed to be the Christmas that you wanted. The video was fantastic and the music was perfect! I hope you had a great and restful time. I ended up leaving my phone in my parents car when they dropped me off at the airport.
