The build shop has been humming in these days around X-mas and New Year’s! I’ve been cranking out cool stuff on an almost daily basis, using my “Lockdown Holiday” time off productively! Our latest addition is another example of one of my all-time favorite Model Motoring bodies, the ’67 Chevy Chevelle Malibu SS in a fetching candy-coat emerald green.

The ’66 and ’67 Chevelles are amongst the coolest ‘60’s muscle cars. In my lifetime I have wrenched on, built and rebuilt more Chevelles than any other model of car; they are spiritual ancestors to the “tri-5” Chevys of the previous decade and are just as versatile and as fun to own and drive as their ‘50’s brethren. This is the 3rd copy of this MM body I have acquired but it is the first in this metallic candy color scheme; I outfitted her with a set of Road Race Replica chrome reverses and lo profile tires. A pair of miniscule period-accurate fuel and oil decals in the back window complete that early ‘60’s bad boy persona, and with a brand new Ultra-G chassis for motor-vation, she goes as good as she looks!
