— FULL VIDEO!!! — 5 Laps, No Mercy: The Memorial Day Muscle Car Brawl!

Featuring in-car video via the Track Eye II™

The video of the Memorial Day racing action at Drag City is out of post-production and on the air! This is the first full video featuring footage from the Track Eye II™ camera giving you a driver’s eye view of the action!

As for the music: you got a little preview of this at the tail end of my video review of the track timer, so here’s the whole thing: another awesome ride from The Black Angels!

The “Final Battle” came down to a fight between two rivals that are both frequently seen in the last elimination rounds: “White Lightning,” the ’67 Chevelle Malibu SS396 of Shane “Storm Rider” Sutherland, faced off against “Low Flyer,” the candy gold 1970 Olds 442 W-30 driven by Roy “Railbender” Ruskin.

OVERALL WINNER: RUSKIN, ’70 OLDSMOBILE 442 W-30: 37.545

A last remark on the video: this is probably my last one, dear readers; making these takes a lot of effort, and with so little interest, I’m not sure I’m going to continue with this project. So if you enjoy this, please let me know!

  1. That Malibu seems to be a really great and consistent performer! I’ve always had a fondness for those Olds and had several hot wheels versions as a kid. The track eye camera footage looked great, I think. The videos are very well crafted and super entertaining. I can totally understand about the time it takes and wish there was a more visible venue without worries about copyrights. Fantastic Job as always Bud!
