Something happened this fine Thursday that doesn’t happen often: a package arrived not 1 but 2 days ahead of schedule! Thus a noteworthy event I was expecting to celebrate this weekend gets its cork popped early!
THE MUSCLE CAR FLEET IS NOW COMPLETE!
I have just hit my designated “magic number” of 64 cars, a number that divides evenly by 2 all the way down to 2, eliminating the need for a sit-out round when running a full tournament! And just look at the car that gave me a full army:
I fitted this ‘62 Bel-Air “Sport Coupe”, which everyone calls the “bubbletop”, with the last set of chrome reverse wheels remaining in my stash, and she even accommodated the full size silicone tires. That’s about all the customizing needed on a car that looks this good, and now I’m armed to the teeth! With this development I’m happy to announce that the first OFFICIAL tournament at DRAG CITY Mk IV will commence this coming Saturday evening on 2/20/21! Look for results, photos, and video of that big event early on the following Monday!
