I’ll confess to being just a wee bit “OCD.” Well…ok, maybe more than a wee bit. Ever since I was a very young child, I have had a strange aversion to odd numbers. I know it’s kooky, but there it is; I love symmetry, in design and in numbers: I like it when things divide evenly because it’s both orderly and fair. Beyond even division, however, I have always had something of an obsession with doing things in groups of four: the roundness, the neatness of that number is deeply satisfying to me; its like, I can divide everything by two, and have an object and a spare on both sides: perfect!

Now, this makes some sense when you’re racing with a 2 lane slot track; obviously if you’re going to run a tournament where everything divides by 2, there’s an advantage to starting off with a number that’s evenly divisible. As for having four of everything, well…I guess that’s just my personal obsession and my cross to bear. So bear it I do, and here for your viewing pleasure I present the Thunderjet Tetragrammaton: those models in the numbered racing fleet for which I have completed a racing squadron of 4 cars!
So then, how about an 80’s new wave classic from GANG OF FOUR???
To have ambition is my ambition!

I’ll tend to buy things in two’s or fours as well! With car, I’d get six or eight! They look great!
