It’s PAYDAY! Like I said in a previous post, all it takes is money! And I do so loooooove custom-ordering slot cars in the colors of my choice! Just the honor of doing that makes it worth $200 for 4 bodies. Pay now, play later…what’s not to like?

But seriously folks, I’m only trying to be funny and not earnestly trying to put the fine folks at MEV Originals down; au contraire, they’re the best friends I’ve never met, because even though I’ll be lucky to see these before Independence Day of 2022 (what an ironic holiday that will be!) I couldn’t resist sharing the news using the stock photos from their website to describe the next additions to The Road Crew!
So, what do we have on order? We have…

A 1959 Chevy Apache pick-up in a color they call “Dynasty Green” and which I would call “Seafoam Green” (sky blue shown)

A 1959 Chevy Parkwood WAGON in bright red, because that’s the best color on one of the best looking wagons ever made; this version from the website looks like a darker red but it may just be poor lighting or my monitor, we’ll see…

A 1965 Cadillac Coupe deVille in “Sandstone” which should be light tan, which means that unless I’m mistaken my order will look exactly like this image from their website…
And lastly, a two tone job:

A 1969 Dodge Dart GTS in black with a red tail stripe! GYEAGH! How’s that for Mopar Muscle?! This purple/white version shown on the website isn’t bad either, but I wanted something a little more “serious.”
Well, that blows the toy budget this month, especially considering I bought a few other goodies before this haul. And you’ll see those soon enough, so stay tuned, because, you know, the action never stops at Drag City!
Those are amazing and even prettier than I thought. I love them all but that truck slot car is just out of this world! I’m looking forward to seeing these cruising Drag City! I wonder if you will need to do any of your magic modifications on them?
