Remember my promise that my recent “Out of the Slot” travelogue was going to produce something you really wanted to see? Well, here it is!

Upon my arrival in Branson, Missouri on October 7, my eye caught something as I passed by on the main drag looking for my hotel. As it turned out, I was too early to check in, which provided the perfect opportunity to go explore this gem I’m about to reveal! I had no clue this was even here, but once I found it, you can probably surmise that this was a definite high-point of my recent trip to the Ozarks, and if you haven’t seen this place, it is worth a trip to do so if you ever find yourself in the area!
We all know that the days when America always had the biggest and best of everything are long gone, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still running with the big dogs in some categories! Now, I don’t know if the claim to being “the world’s largest” is entirely accurate, but I wouldn’t be surprised, and at the end of the day, who cares? Even if the name is hyperbolic, the spirit it there, and what you’re going to find in these 2 unassuming buildings (which, from their structure, I believe were either houses or restaurants originally) will light up your life! I took hundreds of pictures and videos of this place, and I’m going to do my best to share as many of them as I can here with you right now!

So you see, I told you that sometimes my little travel logues produce something interesting to the rest of you! If your ever in Branson, don’t miss this place, dear readers! You could spend a whole afternoon here, just as I did, and still want to come back for more! Heck, I’d like to run this place, and if it’s still here in 30 years or so, I just may consider donating my own stash to the place just like many others have in the past! That is, if no one else wants it…
OH WOW!!!! I’d say this place is worth a trip to Branson just to see this alone!!!!! There are SO MANY cool things here, I’m in shock. Look at all that cool stuff and I see several things from my childhood that I long for got about, like the Stompers to the the space shuttle with the opening doors! They have Hardy Boys books too. As a kid I would have died for the Star Trek stuff too. I remember seeing some things like the transporter but they were too expensive. I had some of the action figures though! I could definitely spend hours in a place like this. I’ve seen that Branson also has what looks like a really good Titanic museum. This looks like it would be worth a trip. Wow Wow Wow!!!!!!
