Whence This Love for Model Cars? Part 3: POLITICAL REALITIES – The War On Cars Accelerates

No, it is not your imagination; yes, they are out to get us! Car ownership is under assault like never before.

It has become pointless for people to claim that the war on cars is some sort of “conspiracy theory.” Like so much of what the statists claim to be “conspiracy theories,” the war on cars is real, its openly declared, it’s right there for everyone to see, and it’s coming for Y-O-U, dear reader! The war on cars is a component of the wider war on humanity: reading the dissertations of globalist central-planning organizations like the UN and the WEF, it is painfully clear to anyone with a brain unaddled by state propaganda that the 1% are determined to quite literally “eat the world.” Their plans – which they publish in journals and discuss openly – are to create economic conditions that will not allow ordinary people have anything anymore: as in, “You will own nothing and you will be happy.” It isn’t enough for these people to have net-worths over 10 figures; no, they want to own everything; the land, the resources, the houses and apartments we all live in. Working class people aren’t just being priced out of housing; we’re being separated from the entire concept of asset ownership and wealth building: the coming world of the “Wall Street landlord.”

This is a goal that is only achievable with a combination of inflationary pressure and a constant assault on freedom of choice by the regulatory apparatus of the state: we are seeing the results of this every time we go to the grocery store and the gas station. As I have said before, none of this is accidental. The war on cars is an integral part of this: eliminating both freedom of choice and freedom of movement is a major step forward in advancing the goal of total control over your life: if you were a statist with an insatiable lust for power, what better way could you conceive to control the populace than to mount an all-out assault on car ownership?

“How dare you!” So this is who “the best and the brightest” decided would be a good face for their movement? Great job again, global elites! Now, will someone please send this REPELLANT SPOILED BRAT back to where ever the hell she came from???

Of course, it’s all about “saving the planet,” right? Remember that next time the Davos crowd wings to another of their junkets on their private jets. Thankfully for humanity worldwide, I am finally beginning to see some hopeful signs that this whole “anthropogenic climate change” scam is beginning to break down; more and more sensible people-including those that are true environmentalists-are becoming vocal and asking questions, which of course requires the statists to ratchet up the hysteria, blaming every severe weather event around the world on “global warming” (ooops, I mean “climate change,” ooops, now it’s “the climate crisis,” D’oh, now it’s “the climate emergency,” wait, this just in, now it’s “global boiling!”) and making ever more dire predictions, which turns into a tighter and tighter death spiral for their cause as the results of their fearmongering repeatedly fail to materialize. This is the prime reason for the implementation of the new censorship regime: to silence opposition, to stop people from calling out what is painfully obvious. Maybe they won’t succeed in the “Chinafication” of the West, with their “social credit system” and all the horror that implies; sadly for me and my fellow gearheads, however, it may too late to save the American car culture. We will all be the poorer without it.

This is how dreams begin…

So then, dear readers, allow me posit an additional, and much darker, theory about the apparent growing popularity of model cars: is it possible that part of the reason why interest in the subject seems to be at an all-time high is because more people are seeing their dreams of owning the objects of their desire in full-scale slipping away? Could it be that the toys are a way to help alleviate the pain of a longing that may never be fulfilled?
