At long last they’re finally here!!! I’ve been waiting an entire year for this; Road Race Replicas has been out of stock on their pad-printed raised white letter silicone tires since I discovered this awesome vendor last January, and only recently did they finally get the materials needed to reproduce them. As soon as they were available I placed an order for a dozen sets and have been chomping at the bit waiting for them to arrive. And now that they have, I’ve set about fitting them to every car I have that I can use this size of tire on !
Most of my cars run on the low profile tires-either Road Race Replicas or Vincent, depending on which seems more appropriate for the situation. It is primarily cars in the muscle fleet that have the larger, standard-sized tires as the bodies, of course, are bigger than most of the sports cars and many can handle the larger tires. All of the cars you see pictured here previously just had plain blackwalls on them. They looked good then, but look at them now!
Worth the wait? Yeah, I’d say so!!!
