I’m going to step out of character and be the “man of few words” here. My last update to the Road Crew was an awesome lemon yellow Nu-Rora ’69 Mach 1 that I got at an amazing price. I thought I was lucky then, but only 2 days later the “suggestions” box on the usual site came up with something at least as good…maybe better? How could lightning strike twice in one place like that?
I’m out of T-Dash chassis and my only 2 remaining original “Tuff Ones” are earmarked for future projects, so this body got mounted on one of my few remaining, very expensive NOS T-Jet 500 originals, one of the white/green magnet series that had never been run prior to carrying this car!
Note that this seems like an “odd duck” for the Nu-Rora/Road Race Replicas Mach 1, as it does NOT have the characteristic rear wing and window louvers. Were it not for the exta-cost-option color-keyed sport mirrors, this might be an Aurora original! Its not, though…I think its better than that!
My gawd, I love old Mustangs! This little model shows clearly why!
