Drag City hit by “Bidenflation”
Sadly, this October seems less celebratory than most. Things have been slowing down lately; the raceway has been silent these last couple of weeks while I’ve shuffled some priorities. Work load is ramping up again and I won’t have any time for my hobby for at least the next week.
The bigger picture, however, is starting to look grim. Due to the worthless piece of shit who was installed into the presidency and the enormously destructive policies his chinese handlers are inflicting upon the nation, I have already had numerous setbacks at work and at home, and am going to have to back off significantly on discretionary spending. That will happen when it costs $60 to fill your gas tank!
And what the hell is going on with this? Have you seen these prices lately?
Well, I’m not willing to do this! This was was fun, but there’s an old saying that popularity ruins everything! if I have to start choosing between my hobby and maintaining my house and car, well, that’s a choice I can easily make: a man has to have his priorities.
I have a few things in the pipeline and I hope to build a few more cars in the coming weeks, which I will probably profile here, but after that the tracks are closing down for a while so I can address other things. The fall racing season is looking to be a lot more lean, with a lot fewer tournaments and action, than we hoped.
I may or may not continue with this blog. And if I am indeed bowing out, then…
