So it turns out I have to go into the office tomorrow to deal with an “emergency” networking problem involving a firewall that finally died (I’ve been warning them about it for 4 years!) and had to spend much of this Saturday preparing for that, so although I completed by full fleet of 64 muscle cars and was ready to run the innaugural full tournament at Drag City Mk. IV tonight, I got to work instead.
Yay! Nothing is more aggravating than being pulled away from playing with my toys to do adult stuff!
Well I guess I do want to get paid and all, so I guess I gotta go, but now we’re probably looking at next weekend before I can run a full 64 car tourney! Maybe I’ll do it on weeknights a bit at a time, haven’t decided yet.
The good news is that I did make some great progress earlier today on the new diorama and that’s something I definitely will be working on at night during the week, so while there won’t be much racing (yet), there will be cool new stuff to look at…
