Early this month, on the night when a seemingly promising new romantic entanglement “ghosted” on me (that seems to be S.O.P. these days when 2 people spend a few good nights together and one wants to try to move it up a notch), I gave myself a “consolation prize”, which wasn’t bad: my 3rd “’68-ish” Dodge Charger R/T, an Auto World issue from Release 18 in deep maroon with a white roof and tail stripes and super detailing. VERY nice!
The original chassis it came with was a dog so I pulled it to give to a smaller, lighter car that might squeeze some decent performance out of it with a set of OS3 magnets added, and to this car I gave a brand new SCREAMIN’ Ultra-G! I finished it with Road Race Replicas “Stones” wheels and a set of the same vendor’s peerless RWL silicone tires with the Goodyear Polyglas imprint. Couldn’t look better if it were real!
