Taking risks means getting burned sometimes, and flying this X-mas was no exception. With all the cancellations due to staffing problems caused by a combination of ill-considered vax mandates and people calling out sick, combined with the general deterioration of society caused by a lack of accountability and standards combined with an enormous volume of holiday travelers due to pent-up demand following nearly 2 years of lockdowns and quarantines, it went without saying that getting there and getting home was going to be difficult. Considering what some people I know went through, my 7 hour flight delay wasn’t all that bad. Fortunately I had my new companion to keep me company, and I made this little travel log for my fambly showing the trip home to CO from AZ, as well as the follow-up New Year’s Eve and Day Celebration with all 5 of my bears as we opened their toys on a belated “Christmas on New Year’s” event.

In spite of all the things going on, it looks like a lovely time and video! It looks like Henry enjoyed it! It is good to see the Subversive City logo again!
