Boy, you’re gonna carry that weight, carry that weight a long time…
I have been absent from my blog and from my track for almost 2 weeks. In that time, I’ve worked over 112 hours trying to ram through a network redesign at my engineering firm’s office in the after-hours and weekends without anyone noticing, while at the same time doing my regular day job dealing with customer networks and security. Its been a tough row to hoe, but I’m happy to say that overall things went quite well; all my careful planning and triple and quadruple checking of my policies, protocols, routes and encryption paid off! This weekend is Easter, and due to the generosity of a good friend (who I mention often in these pages) I will enjoy a weekend of food and reminiscing, and then I’m looking forward to a much less frenetic next few weeks, when I will have some time to get back to what I enjoy: racing my cars, building my diorama, and updating this here ‘blog.
It just so happens that today-which is appropriately April Fool’s Day-I played a gag on y’all by making you think I wasn’t going to build any more slot cars!
