A dissatisfied Auto World customer expresses frustration over declining quality in recent slot car purchases, citing subpar finishes, slower chassis, and overall inferior craftsmanship compared to older models. After spending significant money, they feel compelled to stop buying new products unless improvements are made, preferring older, higher-quality items.

The recent Rocky Mtn Model Train Show at the National Western Complex featured more vendors and models than ever, but disappointingly few slot cars. Despite this, I found unique items, including 3D printed decorations and Plasticville classics. My experience spurred new ideas for my track diorama, with plans for future landscaping.

 There are now a grand total of 4 of these Auto World 1970 Mustang fastbacks in my fleet, because, well…I love Mustang fastbacks.
